Stay tuned to this space for more information on how we intend to keep you and your family SAFE and HEALTHY in studio at Shepherd Private Coaching.
Halton Region is currently in the RED CONTROL zone of reopening the region post-lockdown measures. What this means for performing arts facilities is that in an official provincial guideline capacity we are allowed to run in-person programming using the restrictions provided. Performers and employees must maintain 2m physical distancing except for the purposes of performance : which means rehearsals and classes could indeed take place in person. Masks are mandatory for all participants over the age of 5 years. Use of impermeable barriers between performers/instructors for the purposes of singing are mandatory at this stage. And no audiences are permitted. Shepherd Private Coaching prefers to take a more cautious standpoint on this reopening structure, and will engage in in-person programming in the YELLOW PROTECT (and possibly ORANGE RESTRICT) levels, where community spread patterns are much lower. We anticipate this being possible by May 2021, and certainly in time for Summer with our Performing Arts Camp (PAC) programming. In all instances, at this time, any in-person programming will be capped at strict cohorts of 10, or 6 families for Zumbini® classes. This will allow all participants and instructors to maintain as much distancing as possible within our studio spaces
Before ALL in-person programming participants must complete their Covid-19 Screening Form. A new form must be completed before each class/event. The link for the document will be sign posted in the lobby of the studio, as well as circulated routinely to all participants.
You can also access the form by clicking the link below. Please remember to physically take temperatures with a thermometer in good working order.
With in-person programming comes the inherent risk of contracting Covid-19. While adhering to provincial and regional policies and procedures, as well as taking extra precautions ourselves, we cannot entirely eliminate the risk posed by Covid-19. Due to this circumstance, we at Shepherd Private Coaching, wish to be transparent with all families about the inherent risks involved with in-person programming. All participants/guardians must complete the Assumption of Risk Liability Waiver before attending any in-person programming. You can access the form using the link below.
COVID-19 GUIDANCE : Summer Day Camps : Version 3 - Aug. 2020
The most current version of guidelines for operating Summer Day Camps within Ontario, as per the Ministry of Health. This PDF will be updated with each new version. As of yet, there is nothing new for 2021. Our 2021 Summer Performing Arts Camp is therefore modelled on this precedent from 2020. We have currently opted, due to increasing case counts in Halton, to model our camp on a 10 participant cohort. We will expand to 15 if the Halton guidelines suggest it is safe to do so in coming weeks.
Welcome to Shepherd Private Coaching! We are pleased to announce our New Studio Location Coming Soon to Mainway Drive Burlington! Once Health & Safety Protocols allow we will be reopening our in-person programming there! Stay Tuned!
